Polar Plunge at Big Bear Lake!

What a great day! there were so many Knights from all parts of the Chapter who did an outstanding job for the Special Olympics. Some cooked lunch for all the participants, others served, while so many others reached into their own pockets to provide funds for these special athletes. Numerous councils and assemblies donated funds to provide the food that was provided for the plungers. Last but not least, there were those who plunged into Big Bear Lake. The air temperature was in the twenties with periodic snow showers while the water temperature was a chilly thirty six degrees. The warm feeling, however, that all the participants felt from helping "the least of God's children" made it all worthwhile. To all who took part in whatever capacity, we all offer a heartfelt thank you.
