July 2017

Rob Ferguson Family

Rob Ferguson joined our Council this year. Rob and his family which included his wife, Barbara Brodoway, their son Bobby, and his 92 year old father-in law helped prepare and serve dinner at Ronald McDonald House. Their help was instrumental in the Council's ability to serve a wonderful home cooked meal to the residents and guests at Ronald McDonald House.

June 2017

DiChristopher and Schaeffer Families

The turnout of the DiChristophers and Schaeffers at the Holy Rosary Carnival was nothing short of amazing. Most are easy to recognize as they are partially covered in funnel cake batter and grease. Operating the funnel cake booth is a non-stop pleasure for them regardless of the length of the lines, the heat from the fryers, and mess they maintained their spirits and helped make the Carnival a success.

April 2017

Dave and Stephanie Robinson

Dave and Stephanie helped out a at numerous Lenten Fish Fry Dinners, worked in the kitchen to help prepare the St. Pat's dinner, helped with set up and decorating for the St. Pat's party, and if that was not enough Dave and Stephanie helped out at the Second Sunday Breakfast at St. Helena. Then when needed Dave also helped with sales for the Lenten Soup sales.

January 2017

Matt Puka and Family

Matt has volunteered his children to act as members of the Holy Family for the "Keep Christ in Christmas" float for several years. That coupled with Matt's assistance preparing the food for the St. Patrick's Party and Oktoberfest, Maria's help with selling "Pot-O-Gold" tickets and his family's willingness to help our Council whenever asked, leads us to recognize the Pukas as the Family of the Month.

September 2016

Brian Dennis and Family

Brian's leadership, planning, and coordination of the State Picnic, once again, made this event a great success, despite the adverse weather conditions. In true Christopher Council fashion, Brian sacrificed a weekend of his family vacation to make sure the picnic went forward without a hitch. While his dedication to, and sacrifices for, Christopher Council are known, we need to recognize Brian would not be able to do this without the support of his family, so once again we thank Brian and his family for all that they do for our Council.

August 2016

Carlo and Nancy Ciabattoni

Carlo and his wife Nancy were instrumental in the preparation and serving of the dinner our Council put on at the Ronald McDonald House. The dinner is provided to families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House while their children are being treated at the A.I. DuPont Hospital. This event is an important opportunity for our Council to perform community service and help families who have a child experiencing a serious and sometimes life threatening conditions. Carlo and Nancy's help was invaluable in preparing this "home cooked" meal.

Dominic DiChristopher, III & Family

Throughout the 2015 - 2016 Columbian year our Council Officers work many hours and do innumerable tasks while performing the duties of their respective offices, attending meetings, and aiding our Council in carrying on its charitable and fraternal functions. The time they spend helping our Council keeps them away from their families. While we personally recognize the sacrifices our outgoing Officers make throughout the year we do not formally recognize them and their families during their term of office. However, it is appropriate that we do so now at the end of their respective terms. We therefore name all of the outgoing officers and their families collectively as the family of the month.
