Our Annual Christmas party

was held on Saturday Dec 15 

in the Church Auditorium. The event was catered by Villa Olivetti and included wine, beer, soft drinks, set ups, and coffee; desserts brought by attendees. The food was great and all agreed it was a relaxing and congenial event.



The Food Drive

on Saturday, Nov 10 

at King Kullen, was a HUGE success.

We collected 20 Shopping Carts of food 

and $530 in cash donations.

Food was delivered to the 

Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry 

Gift Cards will be distributed.

Despite the rainy weather, given the weak advance sale [43] and poor attendance [29], a future event of this type is highly questionable.




The SSPJ KofC Council is now a member of the St James Chamber of Commerce.

Lenten Soup Supper [2018]

Delicious soups were prepared and served by the SSPJ Knights of Columbus Council on Ash Wednesday.

our Lector, JOHN PINTO, and parishioners who participated to make this fundraiser a spiritual and financial success. 



A Free Throw [Hoops] competition for youths took  place in SSPJ audtorium on Jan 20, 2018.
