It’s Time!

Knights of Columbus College Scholarships

 

Due Date:    Friday, April 2, 2017

 

Who’s eligible?

High school seniors and/or students enrolled in undergraduate studies, or vocational/technical post-secondary education for which progress can be graded.  You must be sponsored by an active Knight in Council 10836.  Post-graduate students are not eligible.  Previous awardees who have received scholarship amounts of $4000 are not eligible.

 

What are the qualifications?

Please see the application for details.  Primarily, they are enrollment in an accredited institution, scholastic achievement, and extracurricular activities, especially community service.

 

When?

Applications must be returned by the end of business on Friday, April 2, 2017. No exceptions.

 

Where?

Please mail the completed application to the above address, or drop it by the church offices.  Be sure to let office personnel know it is a KofC scholarship application!

 

How many and how much?

Up to three (3) full scholarships will be awarded.  The scholarship will be awarded annually at $1000 with a maximum of $4000 over four (4) consecutive years.  Other scholarship amounts may be awarded at the discretion of the scholarship committee.

 

Applications will be evaluated on demonstrated accomplishments.  Higher consideration is given to applicants actively involved in various church and community organizations.  All students are eligible, however, relatives of members of the Knights of Columbus Council 10836 or St. John Neumann Catholic Church shall be considered for awards first providing they meet the base level of accomplishments and services described in the application.

19th Annual Golf Tournament

Barton Creek Country Club Crenshaw Course

Monday May 1, 2017

 

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ON OR BEFORE APRIL 3

If you pay your entry fee on or before April 3 you will be entered into a drawing to win a

round of golf for four at one of the Barton Creek Courses. This is a great prize!

 

Check-in: 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Shotgun Start: 1:00 p.m.

Cost including dinner: $175 per player

Dinner, Awards, Raffle: 6:30 p.m. at St. John Neumann in Morris Hall
