News & Announcements

Help recruit Sunday, Oct. 29

Worthy Brothers, we will be outside each mass on Sunday morning.  We ask that you help share information with men interested in the Knights of Columbus.  So please spend a few minutes after mass by our table.  Thanks!

Also, if you have a blue 'Elder Council' polo shirt, this would be a great time to wear it so that fellow parishioners can identify us as Knights.

Crosses of the Innocents - Help remove

Perpetual Adoration Schedule

Brothers,

Please see the schedule below. We are down to 9 of us now so I have only scheduled one adorer per shift. This was done with Father's permission.  This will make us responsible for less days but makes it imperative that if you are scheduled that you make it to the shift or find someone to cover for you. If you cannot attend your assigned date, please ask all of us for a trade and include me please. If anyone wants to pick up someone else's date or can come for assistance, please let us know.

Thank you for all of your hard efforts and commitment!

Vivat Iesus!

YOU can save Christian lives in the Middle East

The archdiocese of Erbil, Iraq — home to one of the largest communities of displaced Christians in the Middle East — faces a shortfall of $600,000 a month in food aid.

However, by donating a small gift each month, you can help save their lives.

How does this work?

Simply click here to select your donation amount and choose "Make this a monthly donation". Without the hassle of filling out additional forms, the same amount will automatically be withdrawn from your account each month.

And, if you donate before July 1, your donation will be matched by the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council. One hundred percent of all donations will be used to assist Christian refugees.

Click here and make a lasting difference today.

The Knights of Columbus will match donations received by July 1 up to $1 million, and 100 percent of the money raised will be used to assist with food programs for Christian refugees in Iraq. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Knights of Columbus Charities Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Knights of Columbus has donated more than $12 million for Christian refugee relief since 2014 in support of communities ignored by direct U.N. or U.S. government assistance.

More Testemony Before Congress Regarding Christians In Danger!

Brother Knights,

The plight of Christians in the Middle East continues to be dire. The Christian populations in both Iraq and Syria have fallen to a fraction of their previous numbers. Many have been martyred, others have been displaced or had to flee for their lives. The Knights of Columbus continues to support the needs of these Christians, having raised more than $10.5 million on their behalf, and having supported projects with that money to provide food, clothing, shelter, catechesis, general relief, medical assistance, education and assistance for other critical needs.

As part of these efforts, last week Supreme Knight Carl Anderson gave congressional testimony of the plight of Middle Eastern Christians. He laid out a six point plan to secure their future in the region. The points he made have been suggested by John Allen of CRUX as important issues for the candidates in this year's election and can be read here

Last week the supreme knight also co-authored a piece with Archbishop Jean Clement Jeanbart of Aleppo, Syria. It can be read here
