Matthew Cash was elected Knight of the Month for February 2015. Matthew serves the Knights and his parish as an usher during mass, by assisting with First Friday Adoration, and by always serving with a smile at the Pancake Breakfasts. Matthew also assists with Sunday Rosaries, serves and the Pro-life Director in our Council, and other services to the parish.
Donnis (Don) Edwards
Our Financial Secretary was selected as Knight of the Month due to his hard work keeping up with the financial statements and records of our Council. He has caught up with most members in rears, and has kept the Council officers and members up to date. His experience with the different positions he has taken in the Council has given him enlightenment to do an outstanding job with the Council and the Parish as well. Thank you Don for your work and Congratulations!
John (Louie) Walton
Louie has helped out numerous times as a Master of Ceremonies and Sacristan for the new Spanish Mass on Sundays at 5pm. He has sacrificed his family time to help set up for this Mass since the Priest comes from another Parish and the Parishioners attending this Mass are new and do not know much about our Church.
Erick Del Toro
Brother Erick was elected Knight of the Month of November for his service to our Council, contributions to the Nativity Auction and Pancake Breakfasts, as well as all around services to the Council and Parish community.
Matthew was selected as Knight of the Month of October for his service to our Council as Director of Church and Pro-Life Committee, monthly adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, service at Nativity daily Masses, Usher and work on the Pancake Breakfasts.
For his work on the Altar Servers training program, providing them with a pizza, chicken and ice cream meal for lunch after their training. Jesse was also recognized for his contributions to the Boy Scouts, our Council and parish.
Robert (Bob) Williams
For his dedicated work organizing and selling tickets after Masses for the Nativity Picnic with the Redbirds and Fireworks display to kick off Elvis Week at AutoZone Park on August 9, 2014. He also donates his loving "scrapple" and serves it during Pancake Breakfasts.

James (Jim) Lippy
For his services at Lenten Stations of the Cross and outstanding service to the Church of the Nativity as Master of Ceremonies and Sacristan.
Gino spearheaded and coordinated the Fish Fry we had after Stations of the Cross on Friday, March 14. He also ensured the Pancake Breakfast the Knights hosted on Sunday, March 16 was ready and that there was plenty of food for everyone. His efforts and dedication are greatly appreciated knowing that each of them take time and effort. Gino's service to the church and your involvement in so many activities and councils at church show the enthusiasm and commitment you have towards the church and their families which also include serving as an Eucharistic Minister, Lector and Usher at mass.
John Paul Lenti
John Paul's loyal dedication to do what he can at any event he attends including our Pancake Breakfast shows the enthusiasm he has in Nativity and the Knights of Columbus. He is looked up to with his “If I can do it attitude, I will get it done attitude”.
As a Seminarian for the Diocese of Memphis, Carlos dedication as a future Priest goes highly noticeable. Since his arrival to the Parish, Carlos dedicated his time to decorate the Church on the past year’s Feasts and Holy Celebrations, and even requested to hold this year’s Christmas decorations until his arrival from Seminarian school. He also took active parts in the Choir and Mass duties as a Master of Ceremonies. Carlos is a respected member of Nativity’s community. Also, as a Knight of Columbus, he also helped other Council’s Hispanic community by taking part of other exemplification degrees in Spanish, and help translate to other Sir Knights in their exercises.
Joe was noticed for his contributions and roles in numerous activities within our Parish and Council. As the Council’s Past Grand Knight and the District Deputy, he has kept us up to date with our programs and even single handedly ran a turkey drive in our Parish, as well as working with the other area Councils with this fund raiser. In regards to the turkey drive, took the collected turkeys and helped distribute them to Fayette County for the Christmas Holidays. He is also very active with the Boy Scouts and they look up to his service and example.
Brother Gerry spearheaded and collected ingredients for Thanksgiving Turkey Baskets for two deserving families in our Parish Community. He truly showed the spirit of Thanksgiving during this joyous holiday season. Gerry has also volunteered his time by answering phone calls and assisting people for the church office. He is also a regular at first Friday Adoration and can be found leading the Praying of the Rosary before mass during the weekend. And not to mention the awesome job keeping us updated with the monthly minutes as the Council’s Recorder.
Our fellow Knights have noticed A.J.'s contributions and roles in numerous activities within our Parish and Council. He is extremely appreciated by all the Knights within our Council. As the Council’s Financial Secretary, A.J. ensures all of our council’s finances and budget are accurate and all dues and fees are paid on time. He also have's 100% accuracy on all of our audits. His services have been invaluable as our chief Pancake Cook for our parish pancake breakfasts. He is also a member of our 4th Degree Assembly. And we also find him at the 5:00 PM Mass participating in the Rosary before mass each week.
Gino and Joyce are a very active Catholic Family, as well as Church Parishioners and all around Dioceses participants. Gino and Joyce are members of the St Vincent DePaul Society, in which they both help people in need of keeping up with their bills and that these are being helped. Gino is also an all around helper when it comes to Church upkeeps as he is a Building Contractor by trade. Both Gino and Joyce serve many duties in our Church including Lecturers, Eucharistic Ministers, Greeters and Ushers.
Smith Family (Jim and Alma)
Known for many things, the Smith family is one true dedicated Catholic family. Jim and Alma are passionate about helping thru the Church and the community. Both attend and stand guard during Holy Adoration, and both are Eucharistic Ministers. They also help pray the Rosary before their Mass. Jim is a talented breakfast cooker when the Knights have their Pancake Breakfast. Thank you Jim and Alma for all that you do! Congratulations!
Both Frank and his wife Kelly are active in the Parish as both helping with the Youth and PRE programs, and have started the Family of the Nativity Ministry. Frank is also the Family director of the Council and is Chairman of the Church's Finance Committee.
Dennis and his wife Carol were recognized as Family of the Month for November for serving at Nativity morning Masses, praying the Holy Rosary at daily Masses, arranging with Father Keith the second annual Nativity All Souls Memorial Mass on Saturday, November 8th, and for their services to the Parish and Council.
Brother Bob, wife MaryAnn and family were recognized as the Family of the Month for their leadership of the Holy Rosary at Nativity daily Masses during October, the month of the Rosary, and for their services in the Diocese, our Council and parish community.
Gerry and his wife Eileen were recognized for their service to our Council and Parish for the month of September.
Steve, his wife Cindy and daughter Amy were recognized as Family of the month for their service to our Council and Nativity Parish, particularly for serving as Rosary leader, Lector, Eucharistic Minister and hosting the Gourmet dinner at their home.

The Larker Family
Frank and Betsy are truly the example of a Practical Catholic Family. Both of are active in Catholic activities, as well as parish and the Council’s functions. Frank’s fulfillment as the Parish’s Deacon is a strong asset towards our community and Betsy is always there to support him and other Parishioners. Frank has helped out on many occasions during Friday Stations of the Cross helping Father or heading the procession. Both Frank and Betsy are active participants with Church activities, particularly with leading the Legion of Mary.
The Frame Family
Chris and Carol are truly the example of a Practical Catholic Family. Both of you are active in Catholic activities, as well as parish and the Council’s functions. Recently, Chris became a Deacon of the Catholic Church and has taken an even more active role in our community, and Carol giving support by his side. They are both active participants with Church activities, and always help other parishioners when in need.
The Smith Family
Jim and Alma are the example of a Practical Catholic Family. Both of them are active in Catholic activities in the parish and the Council’s functions. Jim and Alma serve in many roles within the parish community. Both are Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristan and Alma serves as Lector. Jim serves as the Chief Egg cook for our council pancake breakfast. Both are regular participants for our First Friday Adoration.
The Ibarra Family
Jose and Karen are the example of a Practical Catholic Family. Both of them are active in Catholic activities, as well as the parish and the Council’s functions. Jose serves in many roles within the parish community. He serves as Eucharistic Ministers, Lector, Sacristan, Master of Ceremonies and Cantor for the Sunday 8:00 AM Mass. He is also an active member of the US Marine Corp League. He serves as our Council’s Treasurer and as an Officer with the Lee R Hurst Assembly. Karen is an active member of the parish and the Ladies Guild. Jose and Karen are being recognized for this service in support of First Friday Adoration and the parish Christmas party.
