June 2017

Jim Wieber Family

Jim and Shirley have been married for 31 years, they attend Mass together each week and support many Knights of Columbus and St. Philip Neri (SPN) Parish functions. Jim and Shirley are both Ministers of Communion. Shirley also distributes communion to patients at the UM Baltimore/Washington Medical Center one Saturday per month and also cleans and presses the alter linens for the parish. Jim is also a Lector, has been a member of the Liturgy Committee, and has supported numerous Council functions such as the initial parish Corpus Christi Procession, the Our Lady of Fatima procession, Marygold distribution, Linthicum Fair and was the Chairman for the State Car Raffle and the Campaign for those with Intellectual Disabilities (Tootsie Roll drive). The Wieber's have been members of St, Philip Neri Parish for 21 years.

Phil Snyder Family

Phil and Cathy have been married for almost 18 years. Their family attends Mass together and supports many Knights of Columbus, St. Philip Neri (SPN) Parish and school functions. Phil became a Knight mid-way through the fraternal year and has already achieved the level of 3rd degree. Phil has been an excellent example by volunteering extensively for council and parish functions and many times his family also volunteers. Phil and/or family supported numerous council functions this past year, some examples include: Fellowship Sundays, All Souls Day, Our Lady of Fatima, Quarter Auction, Catholic Daughter's Basket Bingo, Basketball Free Throw, meeting setup/clean up, and the parish picnic. Phil was also elected to the office of Council Warden for the upcoming year. The Snyder's have been members of SPN for 18 yrs.

Barry Catterton Family

Barry and Kathy have been married for 29 years, attend Mass together each week, and support many Knights of Columbus and St. Philip Neri (SPN) Parish functions. Barry and Kathy are both SPN Ministers of Communion. Barry is the Deputy Grand Knight of the Council and also serves on the Parish Pastoral Council. Barry lead the council car raffle program this year, coordinated and served refreshments for the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, supported the Council membership drive, Fellowship Sundays, Crab Feast, and multiple other Council activities. Barry and Kathy have 2 daughters who are both graduates of St. Philip Neri School. The Catterton's have been members of St, Philip Neri Parish for 29 years.

Jim Cashour Family

Jim and Charlene have been married for 19 years, attend Mass together each week, and support many Knights of Columbus and St. Philip Neri Parish (SPN) functions. Jim and Charlene are both members of the SPN Usher Ministry and serve at the 8am Mass each Sunday. Charlene is also a member of the SPN Blessed Mother Sodality. Jim is also a long time member of the SPN Men's club, supports the FISH ministry (visiting the elderly and providing rides for medical and other appointments etc.) and also leads a volunteer maintenance work crew at the Parish (that performs various repair and maintenance projects around the Parish campus). They have 6 children, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great grand child. Jim and Charlene have been members of St, Philip Neri Parish for 37 years.

Bill Copes Family

Bill and Rosanna have been married for 24 years, attend Mass together each week, and support many Knights of Columbus and St. Philip Neri Parish functions. Bill is the St. Philip Neri Council Financial Secretary and the Co-Commander of the Pope Paul VI 4th Degree Assembly Color Guard. Bill and Rosanna are Ministers of Communion at St. Philip Neri and Rosanne volunteers at HOPE For All, a church and community based outreach center. Bill and Rosanna have 2 grown children.

Timothy Andrysiak Family

Tim and Julie have been married for 54 years, attend Mass together each week, and support many Knights of Columbus and St. Philip Neri (SPN) Parish functions. Tim is the Council Inside Guard, Council Program Chairman, and a member of the Admission Degree Team. Tim is also a member of the SPN Men's Club and Julie is a member of the Parish Greeter Ministry. Tim and Julie coordinate Fellowship Sundays each month for the Council/Parish and also plan and coordinate all Council events which serve food, such as Council Installation Receptions, Christmas Parties, Council meeting refreshments, the Council Booth at the Linthicum Fair and running the kitchen for fund raisers throughout the year. Tim and Julie have 3 grown children, 4 grandchildren and have been devoted parishioners of St. Philip Neri Parish for 52 years.

Steve Feragamo Family

Steve and Linda have been married for 47 years, attend Mass together each week, and support many Knights of Columbus and St. Philip Neri (SPN) Parish functions. Steve has been a Knight for 34 years and is also a member of the SPN Men's Club and past President. Linda has been a member of the SPN Sodality for 34 years. Both Steve and Linda are Ministers of Communion at SPN. Steve has run the SPN Council's Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest for a number of years and participates on the Council's Admission Degree Team. Steve and Linda have 4 grown children; Dawn, Damian, Dominic, and Gabriel, and 9 grandchildren. Steve and Linda have been devoted parishioners of St. Philip Neri Parish for 34 years. Steve is a disabled Vietnam veteran and a 31 year veteran of the Baltimore City Fire Department.

Carl Nelson Family

Carl and Anne have been married for 46 years, attend Mass together each week, and support many Knights of Columbus and St. Philip Neri Parish functions. Carl has been our council's treasurer for 6 years. Anne has been a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas for 60 years and is a Past National Regent. Anne also taught at the SPN school and was Director of Faith Formation. Both Carl and Anne are Ministers of Communion at St. Philip Neri and Carl was the scheduler of Communion Ministers and a lector for 20 years. Carl supports the Parish money counting ministry each week and Anne is the Parish Coordinator for Child Protection. Carl and Anne have 4 grown children, Keith, Stacy, Alan, & Tim and 2 grandchildren. Carl and Anne have been devoted parishioners of St. Philip Neri Parish for many years.

Daniel Wenzlick Family

Dan and Sue attend Mass together each week and support all Knights of Columbus functions. Dan was our council's Grand Knight last year and is currently a Trustee. Dan is currently our council's youth program director and has participated on our Admission Degree Team. Sue actively supports the HOPE for all Christian Ministry and recently spearheaded a big Quarter Auction fund raiser for HOPE which Dan also supported. Sue also does the childrens choir and is the advancement director for the school. Dan and Sue also support the church music ministry and many other church activities. They have 2 sons, Scott and Bob and have been devoted parishioners of St. Philip Neri Church since 1988.

Edward Huelsenbeck Family

Ed and Cindy Huelsenbeck attend Mass together each week and support all Knights of Columbus functions. Ed was our council's Charter Grand Knight and is currently the Chancellor, Membership Director, and the lead of our Admission Degree Team. Ed and Cindy also assist with parish functions and Ed helps out as an usher when needed. Cindy has been a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas for a number of years and has recently been named the Regent of the Mother Seton Court. Ed and Cindy have 2 daughters, Annette and Alicia, and have been devoted parishioners of the St. Philip Neri Parish since 2003.

Jim and Sallie Juknelis

Jim and Sallie attend Mass together each week and support all Knights of Columbus functions. Jim is a Past Grand Knight, a Trustee, the Community Program Director, and member of our Admission Degree Team. Jim and Sallie are Eucharistic Ministers, are on the Baptism team, and have worked diligently to coordinate the efforts of Knights, Parish, and Community to obtain funding for an ultrasound machine for Mary's Center, a local Catholic based pregnancy support center. Jim has also volunteered to coordinate a number of major council fundraising events and has donated his services as a DJ for many parish/Knights events. Sallie is becoming a member of the Catholic Daughters. They have 6 grown children, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and have been devoted parishioners of the St. Philip Neri Parish since 2007.

Dave and Joanne Lotz

Dave and Joanne have been chosen as our Family of the Month for July. They attend Mass together each week and support all Knights of Columbus functions. Dave is a Past Grand Knight, the Church Program Director for our council, and member of our Admission Degree Team. Dave leads the St. Philip Neri Usher Ministry, ushers every week at the 5pm Mass, and is assisted by Joanne when needed. Dave also works on the team to count the weekly parish offerings. Joanne is a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, which makes shawls for parishioners who are ill. Dave and Joanne also faithfully help out on the 1st Sunday of the month at Fellowship Sundays hosted by the Knights. They have four grown children, eight grandchildren, and have been devoted parishioners of the St. Philip Neri Parish since 1968.

Bill and Rosanna Copes

Rosanna and Bill Copes have been chosen as our Family of the Month for January. They reliably attend all Knights of Columbus meetings and Bill is the Financial Secretary for council # 14612. Bill is a member of the 4th degree and frequently volunteers for many of their events. Rosanna volunteers for the charity called Hope For All on most Saturdays. Rosanna and Bill faithfully help out on the 1st Sunday of the month at the Fellowship Sundays hosted by the Knights for the whole parish. They have been devoted parishioners of the St. Philip Neri Church for many years.

Tim and Julie Andrysiak

Julie and Tim have been chosen as our Family of the Month for October. They reliably attend all Knights of Columbus meetings and are in charge of the drinks and snacks. Tim and Julie show up early before the meetings and help set-up the hall for the meetings and get the food and drink ready. In addition, they run the kitchen for fund raising events. They also run the monthly fellowship Sunday event. This event is offered to the whole parish and is a way for parishioners to gather and mingle and have food and drinks. They have been devoted parishioners of the St. Philp Neri Church for many years.
