Congratulations to Bobby as our Knight of the Month from the officers and members of the council. Bobby is a recent addition to our Council but has always been an active supporter of our events. He helped make the last three pancake breakfasts a big success. Bobby was also a key part of making the cooking of Potato Twisters for the UNT Homecoming Tailgate Party. Bobby is very active an usher at the 10:00 Mass at Immaculate Conception Church. His positive attitude and perpetual smile are a source of encouragement for many. Again congratulations and keep up the good work.

Michael recently transferred to our Council and has been very active since joining us. He is our Chancellor Elect for the upcoming fraternal year and serves on our First Degree Team as the Financial Secretary. Michael is a Member of the Fourth Degree. Congratulations Michael.
Congratulations to our Knight of the Month, Gene Hartman. Gene is a long time member of our Council and was the Chairman of our recent and very successful Wild Game Dinner. Gene is also our Community Director and as always a very active member of our Council. He also coordinates our Parish Blood Drive and is an Usher at Mass.
Ray is our Pro Life Director and has also worked on the Diocesan ProLife program. He has been a Knight for over 7 years and is very active in various Council activities including service as EM Usher at Mass, and is part of the middle school RCIA program. Ray has been part of the ACTS program ans was one of the key organizers for the Run for Life.
John is our primary rental agent and does an outstanding job in procuring rentals. Without his effort our hall would be in serious trouble financially. He also serves as an EM and Usher for our church and can always be counted on in working and participating in the various K of C events. Congratulations John on an award well deserved.
Vince is a relatively new member to our Council and has been extremely helpful on several of our projects. We are especially grateful for his help with the Major Degree hosted at our Council and for setting up and tearing down equipment at the fall festival.

Congratulations to Eddie Johnson for being selected Knight of the Month. Eddie is a relatively new member and has already progressed to the 3rd Degree level. He has provided the Council meal on several occasions, has joined our 1st Degree Team, assisted with ushering at mass and has provided several good ideas to enhance our Council. Keep up the good work Eddie!
Congratulations to Matt Pelzel, our Knight of the Month. Matt is a very active member of our Council. He has served as Recorder for the past 5 years and participates in many of the coun-cil activities. He is a Pancake Breakfast crew leader and an usher at mass. Matt is one of those guys that works behind the scenes and always has a smile on his face and a good word for everyone. We are proud to recognize Matt with this most deserving award.
Roy has been and continues to be involved in ICC Parish Council, Planning and Finance Committees, and with similar committees and the annual ICCS Silent Auc-tion in support of the school and the children of our parish. Roy is probably more know for his participation and support of the Annual Msgr. King Golf Tournament, which has raised funds for the ICC Youth Group and other ministries of our church. A husband, father, businessman and fellow Brother Knight, Roy is deserving of this honor.
To say that Mark is active would not even scratch the surface. Here is a list of what he is involve in within the church; Stewardship committee, extraordinary minister, assistant sacristan, RCIA, ACTS Team member twice, leading a faith-sharing group, chair of the Easter Egg Hunt, served on hospitality for the Monsignor King Golf Tournament plus husband to Kristie and father of two young children. Mark also attends adoration and daily mass regularly. Mark is one of the best examples of a servant leader.

Francisco and his family are very active in the live or the church at Immaculate Conception. Francisco and Laura worked very hard stripping and waxing the floors for the main meeting room at the KC Hall in November. It's commitment and dedicated service like this that make them an example to all. Thank you for all you do!!

Terry helps out with our Pancake Breakfast Program, is heavily involved in the ICC RCIA program, as well as assisting as an Usher at ICC. Additionally, Terry and Sherri are involved with the ACTS Program. Sherri is involved with the Catholic Daughters of America. Congratulations to the Brunners for this well deserved honor.
Darrel and Laura Story
Darrel and Laura are heavily involved in our Council as well as our Church. Darrel is past Grand Knight of our Council and head Usher at the Sunday 8:30am Mass. Laura is past president of the Altar Society and is a greeter at the 8:30am Mass on Sunday. They both assist on many council activities and they were instrumental in the great success of our raffle at the Wild Game Dinner. Congratulations to Darrel and Laura on this well deserved award.
Vince & Ninerva Villanueva/Larry and Diana Whitlock
This month was a tie: the Villanueva's are very active in the church. Both are active in the ACTS community as well as EM and Ushering. The Whitlocks are very involve and have been for a long time. Both contribute greatly in serving at the 11:15 mass and funerals.
Mark & Cristy Lindsey
The Lindsey family is one of ICC’s more important families. Aside from being very active in our Council, Mark and Cristy are key participants in the Acts Community and teachers in the CCD program. They are the parents of two children, Ian and Zoe that attend ICC school. Mark and Cristy are Eucharistic Ministers, lectors and sacristans. Mark is on the Stewardship Council and will be heading up the ministry fair for ICC in February. They are highly regarded at Denton Rehab Nursing Center for their efforts in taking care of the residents. Mark is the Youth Director for our Council and also serves as facilitator for the faith-sharing group on Wednesday evenings. Cristy is a member of the Altar Society and Fall Festival committee. Together they organize the ICC community suppers. Congratulations to the Lindsey family for this well deserved honor.

Roman and Alice along with their children are very active in our Church community. They participate in many of our Council activities. Roman has assisted with Hall clean up after some of our rentals, is a lector and usher, and helped out with the Wild Game Dinner and Pancake Breakfast.
Ricky and Wanda Cloud
Congratulations are in order for Ricky and Wanda Cloud. Ricky serves as Chancellor for our Council and heads up our Admission Committee. Through his efforts we should have a really good year and achieve our Council recruitment goal. He and Wanda are part of the Fall Festival Committee of ICC and Ricky also leads the Fish Fry Committee during lent. Both Ricky and Wanda are very active in several minis-tries at the church.
Don and Joyce Swatloski
Congratulations to Don and Joyce for this honor. As many of you know, Don is our Financial Secretary and does a very good job. He is usually our On-Site agent on rentals and does a lot of work behind the scenes as far as maintenance at the hall. He and Joyce assist with ushering at the 5p.m. Mass on Saturday. Joyce is very active in the ICC Altar Society. It is not unusual for Don, Joyce, their children and grandchildren to help out at the various Council functions. Don and Joyce also volunteer their time and talents at the Holy Family Thrift store in support of Loreto House.
Ray and Joan Sedge

Congratulations to Ray and Joan Sedge as Family of the Month. Ray is our council Pro Life Director and takes great pride in this assignment. He and his wife Joan are very active in the ACTS Program and are part of the team that organized the Run for Life event. Ray and Joan also assist in leading the prayers of the Holy Rosary before the 11:15 mass at ICCC along with several other brother Knights. They are also EM's at the same mass plus Ray always helps with ushering. Ray is an aggressive recruiter and his efforts have a lot to do with our council’s success. Ray is a relatively new grandpa and will probably show you pictures of his grandchildren if asked. Again, congratulations to Ray and Joan.
Marty and Juanita McDermed (Family of the Year)
The officers and Council # 4771, wish to express our deepest appreciation for the work and support that both Marty and Juanita have given to the council and members. Marty has served as Grand Knight for the past 2 years and was involved in a ma-jority of the council events during his tenure. Under his leadership our Council had a very successful re-cord of achievements. Juanita is heavily involved with the Altar Society and took care of many of the sewing needs for our priests and church envi-ronmental projects. They completed these good works while dealing with serious family issues out of state. Marty, kept in touch with the council and the activities during his time and contributing to the success of the council. Again, Thanks for a job well done.
Jose Montoya, Jr
Jose and his wife are very active in the church and community. Jose chaired the Monsignor King Annual Golf Tournament this year. We had a record number of teams sign up for the event and it was extremely successful. Jose and his wife help with the greeting program as well as many hispanic activities.
