   Wednesday 10 April – Business Meeting of the Msgr. Wells Council will begin at 7:45 PM.  All card-carrying Knights are welcome (are your dues paid up for the current year?).  Meetings are held in the basement of the Early Learning Center behind the church.  The entrance is to the right of the building.  The Council needs the ideas of all of its Knights.  PLEASE make every effort to attend.  We plan to vote on the By-Laws sent out on April 6.  We are also putting together a Slate of Officers for the coming Fraternal Year.  If you have not been contacted and are interested in serving your Council as an officer PLEASE reply to this email.

   Friday, April 12 - Holy Hour for Persecuted Christians - Please join Msgr. Thomas Wells Council #13008 - K of C as we stand in prayerful solidarity with persecuted Christians by venerating the "Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians" icon. The icon will be venerated Friday evening at 7:45 pm during a special Holy Hour offered on behalf of persecuted Christians. Following the Holy Hour, we will help raise awareness of the plight of suffering Christian communities with a presentation titled "Saving Christianity in the Middle East". The icon will also be available for veneration during the morning of Saturday, April 13. Donations to the Knights' Christian relief efforts are welcome. 100% of donations go directly to provide much needed humanitarian assistance.   The Men’s Group will meet in the MPR on Saturday morning April 13 at 7:30 AM.  This is followed by Mass at 9:00.  New members are always welcome.

Thank You - 10 March – The Knights of Msgr. Wells Council sponsored a St. Andrew’s Community Sunday breakfast on the second Sunday in March.  This March Parish Breakfast raised $489 for the Parish Education Fund.  Thank you to the Parishioners for your support and to the Knights who volunteered. The next Parish Breakfast will be on Sunday, April 28th.

Thank You -  10 March – Council 12008 in cooperation with the Gabriel Cluster of Montgomery County sponsored a Household Items Exchange that netted $2219.30 in sales.  Total proceeds with be shared equally between The Gabriel Cluster of Montgomery Co. and the Knights of Columbus to be used in their charitable works. Thank you to all who supported this endeavor.
