Knights of Columbus Council 9543
The Knights of Columbus Council 9543, Madison, Mississippi, was formed on April 6, 1987. The council was founded upon the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Thirty-three (33) Catholic gentlemen set the foundation for what the council is today. Through their inspiration and hard work, the council has grown to 230+ members. The council has received many awards for its outstanding programs.
Council 9543 is a Catholic, family, fraternal, and service organization. The Knights, coming from a vast variety of professions, share their time and talents in a vigorous program of service. Knights work together on activities in the five program areas of church, community, council, family and youth.
The main focus of all our efforts is the principle of charity. Participation in council activities encourages our members to put into practice their Catholic values and teachings, therefore strengthening their faith.
Active involvement in the Knights of Columbus programs will help make you a better person, a better Catholic, and strengthen your family life.
